This is a question we get a lot: What’s the best city to live in in Orange County? More precisely, what’s the best and more affordable place to live when moving to Orange County.
With a quick Google search you will find places like Newport, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and Sunset Beach, but all of these are multi-million homes and perhaps you can’t afford them! Most people can’t.
Here we’ll discuss some great places to live in Orange County that you might actually be able to afford.
The Tri-Cities Area
So this is the corner area between Brea, Placentia and Fullerton, right in North Orange County. The schools are top tier, all nine and ten star schools, some of the best in the country. There’s great shopping, restaurants and everything’s close. It’s a commuter friendly area. All of the freeways are close and if you have to go to LA you can get there in 20-25 minutes, 45 minutes to Inland Empire, about 10 minutes from Disneyland and 30 minutes to the beach
A beautiful city that makes you feel like you’re out in the country. Excellent schools, still reasonably affordable, and great commute. Closer to the freeways as well. Great shopping. It’s just a beautiful, beautiful city and a safe neighborhood to live in,
South Coast Metro Area
It’s a very nice area. This is the South Santa Ana, North Costa Mesa area, if you’re looking on a map at it. Some of the things we really like about it are its affordability. It’s a nice, safe area. It has great schools, it’s very commuter friendly and very close to the beach.
So Irvine, is one of the cities that have the greatest schools and one of the safest neighborhoods as well. It’s actually rated number one in the Southern California area. Commute friendly. Prices are still pretty reasonably. There’s a huge tech industry and a lot of jobs.
